As a member of the Amazon warehouse team, you will play a crucial role in preparing customer orders. Our dynamic and physically demanding positions are available in various areas, including merchandise handling, make-on-demand services, customer returns, Prime Now, and general fulfillment. Your responsibilities will include selecting, packing, and shipping orders, including those for our rapid (2-hour or less) delivery service.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your tasks may involve:

  • Receiving and organizing inventory
  • Preparing and packing customer orders
  • Loading boxes onto trucks for shipment
  • Using scanners to read product barcodes
  • Following on-screen prompts and instructions
  • Troubleshooting issues as they arise
  • Ensuring products meet quality standards
  • Operating power industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and working at heights of up to 35 feet (training and certification provided at no cost).

You should also be able to:

  • Lift up to 49 pounds
  • Push utility carts weighing up to 60 pounds
  • Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during your shifts
  • Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items
  • Navigate stairs (if applicable)
  • Work at heights of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (if applicable)
  • Comply with strict safety, quality, and production standards

What to Expect at an Amazon Fulfillment Center

  • Safety: Your safety is our priority, and we provide protective gear. Teams share safety tips daily.
